Price Increase :(

Junkin Around the Christmas Tree is just three weeks away.... the countdown is scaring me! I have more stuff to do than I have days before me...BUT, it will all get done, it always does.

As I was working on all the good junk over the weekend I realized something that I will have to do for this year's holiday sales...raise my prices...YIKES!!!!!  I already raised prices on some items for my spring and summer sales this year, and I hated doing it. Several of my friends and customers have told me that my prices are already too low and that raising them will not be a big deal, but it is a big deal to me.

It's too bad that good junk is getting harder to find at good prices. I still get the occasional freebies from people that just want to get rid of stuff rather than having to haul it away, but overall, I am spending more than I have in the past. I will not be raising the prices signifcantly, a few dollars here and there....most people may not notice the difference, I hope. And, I hope that people will be willing to pay that extra dollar or two for something recycled, handcrafted, and locally made.
